Understanding prayer times in Riyadh
Riyadh uses Umm al-Qura and Asia/Riyadh time. The city covers a large area, while this timetable uses a specified central point, so outer districts can differ. Umm al-Qura determines Isha using an interval after Maghrib that the engine changes in Ramadan. A calculated adhan time is separate from the iqamah time set by each mosque.
Sunrise is not an obligatory prayer. The mosque sets iqamah, which may follow adhan. The main app lets you change calculation method, Asr convention and location settings.
