Understanding prayer times in Makkah
This page uses central Makkah coordinates and the Riyadh time zone. The Umm al-Qura method uses an interval after Maghrib for Isha, with the existing engine applying its Ramadan interval. When visiting the Grand Mosque, follow its published timetable and iqamah announcements; calculated prayer times here do not specify congregational starting times.
Sunrise is not an obligatory prayer. The mosque sets iqamah, which may follow adhan. The main app lets you change calculation method, Asr convention and location settings.
