Understanding prayer times in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi uses Salati’s UAE regional convention, the capital’s coordinates and Asia/Dubai time. Abu Dhabi and Dubai share a clock but do not have the same sunset time. Western districts and oases outside the capital need their own coordinates. Check the local timetable and select the appropriate city when travelling within the emirate.

Sunrise is not an obligatory prayer. The mosque sets iqamah, which may follow adhan. The main app lets you change calculation method, Asr convention and location settings.
