Understanding prayer times in Madinah
Madinah uses the Umm al-Qura convention for the city centre in Saudi local time. When visiting the Prophet’s Mosque, follow its own timetable and iqamah announcements; this page does not publish congregation starting times. The daily table includes Fajr, sunrise and the remaining prayers, and the weekly table helps track changes during a visit.
Sunrise is not an obligatory prayer. The mosque sets iqamah, which may follow adhan. The main app lets you change calculation method, Asr convention and location settings.
